HEALTH AND SAFETY OBJECTIVES
In connection with the commitments expressed in the Declaration of the management of ELIA Plc on the quality policy, health and safety at work, senior management of ELIA Plc sets health and safety objectives for the period 1 January 2012 – 31 December 2012.
Scope. The objectives are intended to ensure the realization of events for improving the management and the compliance with legal requirements in terms of production control, health and safety at work and environmental protection through effectively functioning Integrated Management System (IMS) based on international quality standards (BDS EN ISO 9001:2008) and health and safety at work (BS OHSAS 18001:2007).
NATURE AND CONTENT
1. Implementation of statutory requirements of health and safety at work
● Preparing reassessment of therisk of ELIAPlc in the divisions of ELIA Plctogether withOccupational Health Services (OHS) TrudovaMeditsina OOD.
● Draw periodically together with OHS maps for risk assessment of staff working on external sites.

2. Monitoring the health status of the staff and the working conditions
● Provision from OHS of data list of the necessary medical research and medical experts to conduct periodic medical examinations for workers due to changes in legislation and regulatory.
●Ensuring optimal package of health services for additional health assurance for workers in ELIA Plc by signing a new contract with licensed health assurance fund.
● Collecting and processing together with OHSinformation on almost incidents so as to prevent injuries.
● Organizing together with OHS the necessary measurements ofwork environment factors in the divisions of ELIA Plc.

3. Increasing the competence of the staff on health and safety at work
● Further training of electrical personnel in the Rules for Safety and Health at Work in electrical installations.
● Training of the management and the health and safety at work officersin new and changed laws and regulations applicable to the activities of ELIA.
● Training of the representatives in the Committee on working conditions/Group on working conditions.
● Public announcement and explanation of the Declaration of the management on quality policy, health and safety at work and health and safety objectives of ELIA Plc in the offices and on the website of ELIA Plc www.eliaplc.com.
