and organization for modernization of obsolete and out-of-date switchgear, ensuring a new service life for a period of another 20-25 years.
ELIA Plc has developed and implemented know-how – a proved methodology for RETROFIT design and technology.
Since its establishment in 1995, company teams have renovated over 80 substations
and 1000 MV switchgear cubicles in the Natsionalna Elektricheska Kompania (NEK) EAD and the largest industrial enterprises in Bulgaria.
Along with the extensive experience that ELIA Plc gained in the reconstruction and modernization of medium voltage switchgears by RETROFIT system, the company successfully applies this method also for low voltage distribution switchboards.
