Siemens AG, Siemens EOOD and ELIA Plc signed franchising agreement on 11 March 2001. According to the agreement ELIA Plc received the status of official SIVACON technology partner of Siemens for Bulgaria and the right to manufacture in its plant in Dobrich the full range of type-tested low voltage (LV) switchboards SIVACON brand. Based on the agreement ELIA Plc has the right and obligation to adopt and propose to the market, after audit by Siemens, the latest versions LV switchboards type SIVACON.  

In March 2008 ELIA Plc introduced to the Bulgarian market the latest model –
SIVACON S8.
